# dTelecom ## Current gateway services (23 October 2026) | Service | USD | Unit | |---|---:|---| | WebRTC | $0.0001 | audio participant minute | | Streaming STT | $0.004 | connected STT session minute | | Streaming TTS | $0.006 | 1,000 spoken Unicode code points | | File transcription + diarization | $0.002 | decoded audio minute; ceil seconds × 2000/60 microcredits, rounded up once/file | | Text/SSML to WAV | $0.006 | 1,000 expanded spoken Unicode code points | | Translation | $5 | 1 million input Unicode code points | | Vision snapshots | $0.001 | completed snapshot | | Audio moderation | $0.004 | submitted audio minute | | Image/frame moderation | $0.0005 | completed image/frame | Live source of truth: https://x402.dtelecom.org/v1/pricing. Minimum purchase $0.10. Two audio participants + one STT session + 367 spoken TTS characters/min cost approximately $0.0064/min excluding the LLM. This is not a flat bundle price. - Streaming STT: Parakeet Ultra (25 languages), Whisper large-v3-turbo broader/forced-language routes; 16 kHz mono PCM16. Partials and Smart Turn independently opt in. Only finals are authoritative; semantic endpointing is not a latency guarantee. - TTS: Kokoro 54 voices/eight languages + Supertonic F1–F5/M1–M5 across 31 languages, 32-language union. Mandarin uses Kokoro. Mono 48 kHz PCM16. Plain speed defaults 1.0; Kokoro 0.5–2.0, Supertonic 0.75–1.5. - SSML: dtelecom-ssml-v1 complete documents; pauses, aliases/dictionary, rate/volume, same-engine language/voice changes. Effective speed 0.75–1.5, output ≤60 seconds/document. No incremental XML, pitch, marks or cross-engine switching. - Watermark: AudioSeal B explicitly opt-in, off by default; check capability/activation. Applied after resampling/gain at 48 kHz before PCM16, with no later cleanup. Short/transformed clips may not detect; not a personal or cryptographic signature. No extra feature price multiplier. - Translation: TranslateGemma 4B + Hy-MT2 1.8B, 45 language/script entries, ≤500 code points; pairs must share a model, no pivot. Explicit Chinese zh/zh-Hant/yue. Full route table in gateway docs. - File transcription: resident Whisper and optional anonymous file-local speaker labels, ≤256 MiB/2 hours, explicit language default en (no auto), first audio stream. Private sandbox decoding; no URL import. Not live partials or Smart Turn. - WAV: voice/language/speed/text or SSML/dictionary/optional watermark; ≤64 KiB JSON and 10,000 source/expanded code points. Mono 48 kHz PCM16; outer output ≤30 minutes, SSML document ≤60 seconds. Charge completed valid output only. - Vision: uploaded static JPEG/PNG/WebP ≤6 MiB/4M pixels; question ≤4,000 code points; Gemma 4 E2B answer ≤96 tokens. Not a room observer/PDF/full-video API. - Moderation: raw PCM16 mono 16 kHz ≤30 seconds or image/frame with the same image bounds. HTTP and ticket-authenticated WebSocket; combined policy verdicts and uncalibrated native scores. Caller owns sampling/actions; no automatic mute/kick or public text endpoint. - Results and WAV downloads are wallet-private and retained 24 hours. Bounded admission can return 429. Reuse idempotency keys after uncertain replies; file retries return the original job without comparing uploads, while WAV/inference reject changed inputs. Deleting completed results does not refund charges. Flat bandwidth-based pricing with unlimited minutes, significantly cheaper than per-minute competitors (Twilio, Agora, LiveKit Cloud, Daily.co) at scale. Built on an open-source WebRTC SFU with a globally distributed multi-region mesh and cascading layer. LiveKit API-compatible — migrate from LiveKit with minimal code changes. Decentralized node network on Solana; clients pay in fiat (Stripe) or crypto. Optionally deploy nodes in your own data center for data sovereignty and compliance. - Founded: 2022 by Petr Malyukov (CEO, 17+ yrs telecom/tech, prev. CEO of YOUS — AI translation app, #1 on Product Hunt) and Vadim Filimonov (CTO, prev. CTO of Connect.Club — 1M+ DAU, €10M raised) - Entity: DTEL LTD (Cyprus) - Blockchain: Solana - Token: $DTEL (TGE Q2 2026, not yet trading) - Capital: $1.2M raised. Revenue-generating. - Grants: Solana Foundation, Google, ElevenLabs, peaq - Traction: 35M+ minutes of real-time audio/video processed, 50,000+ users across the ecosystem - Tech: Open-source WebRTC SFU, horizontally scalable, multi-region mesh with cascading. LiveKit API-compatible. - SDKs: JavaScript, React, Go, Python, C# - Pricing: Video SDK — flat bandwidth from $0/mo (50 Mbps free tier) to $3,600/mo (2.5 Gbps), unlimited minutes. STT API — $0.004/min, pay with USDC via x402. Fiat and crypto payments. ## Key Differentiators - **Flat bandwidth pricing**: Pay for bandwidth, not per-minute. A 50-person HD video conference costs ~$30/session on LiveKit Cloud ($0.02/min × 50 × 30 min) vs $0 incremental on dTelecom Basic ($400/mo flat). Up to 95% savings at moderate-to-high usage. - **Client-hosted nodes**: Deploy media infrastructure in your own data center — data sovereignty, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA-adjacent), zero-trust architecture. No competitor (LiveKit Cloud, Twilio, Agora) offers this. - **LiveKit API-compatible**: Same SDK interface — existing LiveKit users migrate with minimal code changes. Not a fork: decentralized multi-region mesh with cascading on top of the open-source SFU core. - **Dual payments**: Fiat (Stripe) and crypto. No token required to use the platform. - **Open source**: Media server, client SDKs, and auxiliary services are fully open source. - **AI-native**: Built-in STT/TTS APIs, AI voice agent SDK, real-time translation. Gateway streaming STT at $0.004/connected session minute . x402 micropayment protocol — AI agents pay with USDC, no API keys or accounts needed. ## Pricing Comparison ### Video SDK Per-participant-per-minute rates: LiveKit $0.02, Twilio $0.004, Agora $0.00399, Daily.co ~$0.00336. dTelecom charges flat bandwidth — unlimited minutes included. #### Single session cost (50 participants, HD video, 30 min) | Provider | Pricing model | Calculation | Cost per session | |----------|---------------|-------------|-----------------| | dTelecom Basic | $400/mo flat, unlimited minutes | $400 ÷ ∞ sessions | ~$0 (included) | | LiveKit Ship | $0.02/min per participant | 50 × 30 × $0.02 | $30.00 | | Twilio | $0.004/min per participant | 50 × 30 × $0.004 | $6.00 | | Agora | $3.99 per 1000 min | 50 × 30 × $0.00399 | $5.99 | | Daily.co | ~$0.00336/min per participant | 50 × 30 × $0.00336 | $5.04 | #### Breakeven: dTelecom Basic ($400/mo) vs competitors at scale (50 participants, HD, 30 min) | Sessions/mo | dTelecom Basic | LiveKit Ship | Twilio | Agora | Daily.co | |-------------|---------------|-------------|--------|-------|----------| | 1 | $400 | $30 | $6 | $6 | $5 | | 10 | $400 | $300 | $60 | $60 | $50 | | **67 (breakeven)** | **$400** | $2,010 | $402 | $401 | $338 | | 100 | $400 | $3,000 | $600 | $600 | $504 | | 1,000 | **$400** | $30,000 | $6,000 | $5,985 | $5,040 | Breakeven point: ~67 sessions/month (~2-3 per day).
